Tommy Langston Obituary
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Lindenwood Christian Church, Memphis, with Rev. Geoff Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Canale Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, Kentucky with Rev. Al Seui officiating. Hughart, Beard & Giles is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, he was born on December 13, 1961, the son of the late Walter R. Langston and Virginia Reynolds Langston. He was the owner and operator of Langston Interiors and load captain at Fed Ex, Memphis. He was a member of Second Baptist Church, Hopkinsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Lois Parker and brothers Terry Morris and Bobby Langston.
Survivors include his partner Jimmy Thomason of Memphis, Tennessee; his son Austin Langston of Drummonds, Tennessee; his brothers, Tyrone Morris of Momence, Illinois; Danny Morris of Cocoa, Florida; Ronnie Morris and Ricky Langston, both of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his sister, Jean Hale, Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and his granddaughters, Abigail and Alayna Langston of Drummonds, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.

May you all find peace and comfort during this time. I knew Tommy through scheduling his appts at West Cancer Center and he was always such a joy to help. He loved the soft peppermints so I always had some waiting for him when he would come to schedule his next appt. This news makes my heart sad. Prayers for all the loved ones he left behind.

Tommy was such a joy to be around. At family reunions he loved to make everyone laugh and he also liked hanging out with the kids. He will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family. We love you Tommy and we will miss you dearly.

I am so sorry about the loss of Tommy. He was the life of the party and such a good friend. It's unfortunate he struggled the last several months with his illness. He now is resting in the arms of God. Bless his partner, son Austin and family and friends.
