Tommy R. Millsaps

Tommy R. Millsaps, 81, of Vonore, passed away 7:56 P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at his home. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, an avid sportsman and loved fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy Millsaps; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Adam Reed; sisters, Bess Cathcart and Joyce White; brothers, Jack Millsaps, Jerry Millsaps; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Birdie Brown Millsaps; sisters, Gena Cooper, Nellie Cooper, Mary Thelma Gray, Carolyn Bivens; brothers, Fred Millsaps, John Millsaps and infant twin siblings, Leonard and Linda Millsaps. Funeral 7:00 P.M. Sunday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Tommy Self and Rev. Andy Franklin officiating. Interment 1:00 P.M. Monday in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
