Tommy Moss, age 76, of Stuttgart, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Tommy was born April 2, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Swan B. and Jean Moss of McGehee. Tommy graduated from McGehee High School before attending the University of Arkansas-Monticello and the University of Little Rock for Medical Sciences-Little Rock.
Tommy began his long-term career at Stuttgart Memorial Hospital in 1978 and was employed there until 2019.
Tommy is survived by his daughters, Lindsey Jo Moss Simpson (Eric) of Fayetteville, and Jennie Moss McSwain of Stuttgart. He is also survived by grandchildren Brooklyn and Julian Simpson of Fayetteville and Khloe and Gracey Lloyd of DeWitt, and Kash McSwain of DeWitt. Also surviving Tommy are his siblings, Jim Moss (Debbie) of Hamburg, Rusty Moss (Janet) of Dermott, Steve Moss of North Little Rock and Suzanne Moss of North Little Rock; and dear friend Mathew McSwain of DeWitt. Tommy is also survived by his beloved K9's, Bella and Annie.
Tommy was a member of First Methodist Church in Stuttgart, Yoder Ruritan and Stuttgart Lions Club. Tommy enjoyed years of volunteering for the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce festival activities and was honored in 2002 as Volunteer of the Year.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 16, at First Methodist Church in Stuttgart at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in McGehee at McGehee Cemetery.
