Tommye Gail (Holley) Ronemus, 90, of Sweetwater passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Gail was born April 27, 1934 at Sweetwater to the late Clinton T. and Estelle C. (Bowden) Holley. She was a graduate of Newman High School and had lived in Sweetwater most of her life. Gail married James Wesley "Jimmy" Ronemus September 25, 1951 in Sweetwater. She worked for Sweetwater Electric Co., Bennett and Baucum Real Estate and Lang Aycock Day Care. Gail taught Music and Piano Lessons from her home in the early years of her marriage. She was an accomplished artist, people person, animal lover and was very family oriented. She was Baptist and attended Trinity Baptist Church thru the years.
Gail is survived by her son; Gary Ronemus of Sweetwater, grandchildren; Sophia Cox and Mike of Arlington, Texas, Kristen McCamey of Athens, Texasand Brandy Thompson of Abilene, her great-grandsons; Andy Cox, Elizabeth Ronemus, Draylen Thompson, CW Lemay, Gunnar Hall and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; John Wesley "Moose" Ronemus, grandson; Joey Ronemus, sister; Gloria Puckett and her brothers; E.J., Paul, Dub and Boyce Holley.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2025 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Aaron Soliz officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cox, Andy Cox, Royce Holley, Michael L. Kirkland, Cody Brown and Chuck Browing.
