Tonia Lenora Johnson

Tonia Lenora Johnson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 8, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Born on August 20, 1951, in Tulare, California, to her parents, Kuther and Muriel Hughes Montgomery.

Toni is survived by her devoted husband, Stuart Johnson, and her cherished family, including her children: Ray (Sue) Tanner, Heidi (Richard) Goke, Jeffrey Johnson, and Nichole Henderson; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Dee, Eunice, Paula, and Monty.

Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Kuther and Muriel Montgomery, and four sisters, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.

Toni was known for her warmth and her passion for life, reflected in her generosity and her enthusiasm for collecting cookbooks and unusual rocks. An avid reader, she found joy in the pages of countless books and was proud to be an active member of "Friends of the Library."

Traveling brought Toni immense joy, especially when she and Stuart hopped into their 5th wheel. Their favorite escape was camping at Big Lake, where they would create cherished memories amid the beauty of nature. They especially enjoyed wilderness rides in their side-by-side "putt-putt," Tonia embraced every moment spent with Stuart and her family and friends.
