On July 27, 2024, Tonia Renee (Sanders) Taylor, left this life peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and stepped into eternity with her heavenly father. She was 58. Tonia was born September 19, 1965, to Clinton Dale, and Carole Marie (Dygert) Sanders, in Los Angelas, CA. She married Rick Taylor on June 18, 1981, and they made their home in Clarkston.
Tonia was a lover of the simple things in life: camping, fishing, gardening, sitting by her pond, and finding the babies by flashlight, going on "tow-runs" with Rick, but most importantly, spending time with her family. When her children were younger, she loved roller skating with them... maybe to the point of being a little competitive. She was a strong, hardworking woman, who was unselfish in her ways. She passed that same committed work ethic onto her kids. She loved her family fiercely!
Tonia will be dearly missed by her husband Rick, three children, Michael Ray (Kerry), Matthew Lee, and Amanda "Moo" Michelle; seven grandchildren, Lainey and Kale Jeffrey, Mikey and Jerome Taylor, and Kaylee, Emily, and Hayden Kingsbury; five sisters, Ruthann (Bud) Wahlgren, Michelle (Mike) White, Pamela (Ahz) Mosus, Robin (Steve) Monger, and Nicole (Casey) Fouts;special uncles, Bud Dygert, and Ray (Theo) Dygert; former daughter-in-law, Racheal (Cory) Kingsbury, sisters-in-law, Tina and Kym; many nieces, nephews, special friends, and her three spoiled fur babies, Griz, CJ, and Pixie. She is preceded in death by her parents, and mother-in-law Hope Race.
A Celebration of her life will take place at Malcom's Brower Wann Funeral Home, 1711 18th St., Lewiston, on August 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with interment at Vineland Cemetery, in Clarkston, WA. A potluck and time of fellowship will take place following the interment at Hereth Park, 1534
Powers Ave. Lewiston.
