Tony Barr, Jr

Tony Barr Jr was born to Tony Barr Sr. and Jamie L. Barr on June 26,1996 at West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. He was welcomed into a loving family where he was adored and cherished.  They were a family that lived happily together with their two children. Tony Barr Jr was the oldest of two children and was extremely close to his sister.

Tony Barr Jr. accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He remained faithful until the very end as a devoted member of The St. John Church Ministries of Greater Camden New Jersey. He served on the Youth Department, Praise Team, and the Chosen Generation Choir.

Tony Barr Jr was educated in the Catholic school system and attended The Sacred Heart School in Camden, New Jersey from kindergarten until eighth grade. He attended Collingswood High School where he graduated in 2015. Tony Barr Jr. had a passion for acting and styling and after high school he attended The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts Theaters for film and television. He had the opportunity to debut his visionary works for some of the most popular magazines, such as Bazaar, Off Town, Summer Fairy Tale, Color Scratched, Vigour, Malvie, Moevir, etc.

Tony Barr Jr worked very hard to accomplish his mission to become a famous stylist. He began his exposure in the fashion world working with Banana Republic/Old Navy. He stayed on the course until he achieved a managerial position with the corporate company.

Tony Barr Jr.’s nickname was affectionately TJ by family and friends. TJ always had a smile when you saw him and his soft tone to others was peaceful, mild, and friendly. TJ enjoyed vacationing, traveling, and family gatherings. He shared a bond with his entire family like no other, through the good, bad, or indifferent…like peas in a pod. TJ also shared a special bond with his sister, Alaiya. They enjoyed everything together, they praised dance, they influenced through Tik-toking, and their favorite was taking pictures together. TJ loved the camera; his charismatic persona and his infectious smile brought us all together and drew in all who knew him. He will be truly missed, never forgotten, and always in our hearts.

Tony Barr Jr was Preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Lee Barr and grandmother, Joyce B Poole.

Tony Barr Jr is survived by his father Tony Barr Sr, his Mother Jamie L Barr, his sister Alaiya Symone Barr, Grandmother Polly A Barr, God Parents Earl Alford and Izora Alford, Godmother Sandra Roach, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his pet Milo. He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and forever remembered.
