Tony Bedsole

MR. ANTHONY DON "TONY" BEDSOLE, age 53, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Pearson, GA in Atkinson County.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Donnie Swanson officiating.
Tony was born in McRae, GA, on November 3, 1971, and was of the Christian Faith. He was raised on the family farm and attended Dodge County High School. He received his machinist certification from Ben Hill Irwin Technical School in Fitzgerald and worked as a machinist for several machine shops in Middle and South Georgia. Tony logged for several years with Brown Timber Harvesting, operating heavy equipment. He was a talented machine operator and enjoyed fishing at the family pond, riding horses, pole and barrel racing, and was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He will be remembered for his humor and quick wit. He was fun to be around. Tony was the son of the late Don Bedsole and was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Mary and William Oliver Bedsole, and Mollie Sue and Bealer Parkerson.
He is survived by his Daughter – Gabi Bedsole of Warner Robins, GA; Sons – Drew Bedsole of Cochran, GA and Anthony Bedsole, Jr. of Hazelhurst, GA; Mother – Karen Parkerson Brown (Danny) of Eastman, GA; Sisters – Bonnie Bedsole Moore (Paul) of Eastman, GA and Shayne Bedsole Godwin (Larry) of Helena, GA; Brother – Cam Bedsole (Jessi) of Cochran, GA; Nieces and Nephews – Blake Moore (Anna), Brooke Moore, Claire Peacock, Chloe Jones, and Charlie Bedsole; Uncle – Donnie Swanson of Milan, GA; Numerous Cousins and Friends.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Danny and Karen Brown, 1831 Sweet Home Church RD, Eastman, GA, 31023, and will receive friends from 1:00PM-2:00PM February 6, 2025, at Southerland Funeral Chapel.
