Tony Dwaine Duffer, 54, of Bracey, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born July 27, 1971 in Halifax County, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Dana Duffer and his grandparents, Harvey and Elizabeth Owen.
Tony is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tonya Michelle Duffer of Bracey; his daughter, Chasity Phillips (Corey) of Danville; and is affectionately known as “Poppy” to his three grandchildren, Cora, Cooper, and Caylee Phillips. He is also survived by his mother, Angela Owen Harris; sister, Dusty Lett; special nephew, Christian Mann; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Lila Mann; sister-in-law, Stephanie Aleman; and his beloved dog, Huckleberry.
Tony was a loving and devoted Husband, Dad, and Poppy. He was an Operations Manager for Millennium Print Group. He enjoyed being outside, kayaking, fishing, biking, traveling and watching sports or history. Above all else, Tony was a family man; Tonya, Chasity, Cora, Cooper and Caylee were his everything and he always put them first.
A Memorial Service to honor Tony’s life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive family and friends following the service at the funeral home. Visitors are welcome to Tony and Tonya’s home, 525 Hicks Drive, Bracey, Virginia 23919 on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
