Tony Estes

Mr. Anthony "Tony" Wayne Estes, Sr., age 76, of Waco, GA, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family, on September 2, 2025. He was a leap year baby, born February 29, 1949 in Abbeville, GA to the late Dr. Jarrell M. Estes and Laurie Anderson Estes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Gray; sister, Shauna Bennett; brother, Mel Estes; stepson, Scott Gray; and one step great granddaughter.

Tony worked as a truck driver for RC Cola for over 20 years. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He loved spending time with his family.

Tony is survived by his daughter and son in law, Lisa and Norman Turner; son, "T" Estes, Jr.; stepdaughters and son in law, Debbie and Don Nunz and Jackie Gray, all of Waco; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; sisters, Sandra Klingman, of Cape Coral, FL, Andrea Bachelor, of Abbeville, GA, and Tina Brewer, of Tifton, GA; brothers, Jarrell Estes, of Machester, GA, Greg Estes, of Blairesville, GA, Michael Estes, of Abbeville, and Ren Estes, of Tifton.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 at 2:00PM at Waco Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Greg Estes officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Norman Turner, Justin Turner, Brison Alexander, Josh Turner, Michael Estes, and Ren Estes. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00PM to 1:30PM.
