Tony Lee Honeycutt, 47, of rural North Manchester, Indiana went to be with the Lord at 8:20 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at his home. He was born August 28, 1961 in Wabash, Indiana to Johnny A. and Patsy (Lane) Honeycutt. He married Sheryl Cansler in Wabash on March 27, 1987. He was a 1980 Wabash High School graduate. Tony worked 25 years at Wabash Metals and the past year at Zimmers in Warsaw. He enjoyed playing baseball, softball, and bowling. Tony was a budding gardener, enjoyed being outdoors, and loved his dog, Duke. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and also enjoyed watching movies. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Honeycutt of North Manchester; three sons, Paul (Stacy) Harris of Pennville, Indiana, Andy (Sandy Przybylowski) Harris of Wheeling, Illinois, and Ryan (Sara) Honeycutt of Fort Wayne; his daughter, Holly Honeycutt of North Manchester; five grandchildren, Kimber Harris and Devin Harris, both of Pennville, Phoenix Honeycutt and Petra Honeycutt, both of Fort Wayne, Owen Lee Honeycutt of North Manchester; his parents, Johnny and Patsy Honeycutt of Wabash; his sister, Judy Blocher of Wabash; two brothers, Michael (Pam) Honeycutt and James (Melanie) Honeycutt, both of Wabash; grandfather, Eugene Lane of North Manchester; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Cansler of Wabash. Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are Tony's Family, Wabash-Miami Home Healthcare and Hospice, or the Wabash County Cancer Society.
