VanArsdale Funeral Chapel - Osage CityTony Lee Murphy passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was born on April 3, 1969, in Albany, Missouri, to Larry Murphy and Bonnie (Lucas) Jackson.
Tony worked in the deli at White’s Grocery Store and also served as a cook at the Iron Rail Bar and Grill. In his free time, he loved being outdoors, especially mushroom hunting and collecting rocks, which brought him great joy.
Tony is survived by his mother, Bonnie Jackson; his stepfather, Marlon Jackson; his sisters, Shannon Williams and Carrie Swain; and his stepchildren, Travis and Jared Beer. He is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Murphy, and his wife, Melody Beer.
