Tony Mac Smith passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in Abilene, TX. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15 from 5-7pm at Fry-Smith Funeral Home in Tuscola. A service celebrating Tony's life will be held on Thursday, January 16 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church in Tuscola.
Born on October 11, 1961, in Abilene, TX to Bill Smith and Joyce McCaffety Choate, Tony lived a life filled with laughter and friendship.
Tony was a General Contractor for over 30 years. He created lasting relationships with those who crossed his path. A passionate cook at heart, Tony found joy in preparing meals for family gatherings where stories were shared and memories created. Music played an essential role in his life especially while entertaining in the pavilion, he also enjoyed working on projects around his property, riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing -these moments brought him great happiness.
Tony is survived by his wife Lynn Davis Smith; daughters Britany Smith (wife Rachel), Cassie Crowe (husband Cutter), Hailey Hocke (husband Ryan); bonus sons Travis Gazaille (wife Amy) and Ryan Gazaille (wife Gabby); grandchildren Layla, Addilynn, and Nolan Gazaille. Additionally surviving are sister Donna Andress (husband Jim), brother Garry Smith (wife Betty), several bonus siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Tony is preceeded in death by his parents Bill Smith and Joyce Choate along with his step-parents R.B. Choate and JoAnn Smith.
