Tony Vlk III

Anthony Joseph Vlk III, age 41, of Disputanta, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. He was born on January 15, 1982, in Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Jean Archer Vlk; his paternal grandparents, Tony Vlk, Sr. and Marie Vlk; maternal grandparents, Hoover and Wavey Archer; and two aunts, Marie Winner and Patsy Blackburn.
Tony was an active member of Super Kids Ministry in Prince George, VA. He loved to go fishing, write letters to many different pen pals, playing cards and bingo, and watching T.V. and movies.
He is survived by his father, Tony Vlk, Jr.; his sister, Jennifer Vlk (John Baxter); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road S. Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Super Kids Ministry, P.O. Box 637, Hopewell, VA 23860, in memory of Tony.
