Tonya Christina Carter

Tonya Christina Carter, age 51, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on January 15, 2026. She was born in Carrollton, Georgia on August 9, 1974, daughter of Vicky Head and the late Jerry Walker.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather: Vicky and Richard Head; sisters: Tammy Roberts and her husband Clay, Kristy Harris and her husband Justin; brothers: Johnny Camp and his wife Sam, Barry Head and his wife Melissa; six nieces and five nephews; two great-nieces and one great-nephew; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father: Jerry Walker.

The family will receive friends at Union Grove Christian Church on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Mallory and Brother Randall Carr officiating. Johnny Camp, Clay Roberts, Jamie Roberts, Drew Washington, Will Cooper, Dobry Hill will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Union Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
