Tonya Everett Obituary
Tonya graduated from Quincy Senior High School and also graduated from Flamingo Beauty College.
She was an avid cat lover. She loved doing cat rescue and pet adoptions. She also found great joy in crocheting.
Tonya was from a very large family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, and several siblings and nephew Derek Poe.
Survivors include a sister Tami (Jeff) Wright, Barb (Dave) Vaughn, Maxine Harris, Mary Mueller, Margie Monetti, and two half brothers Benjamin (Leslie) Roath, and Robert Roath.
She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Brad (Alisha) Harsher, Michele (Ron) Crum, Adam Smith, Nathan (Jamie) Wright, Justin Wright, Nicolle (Billy) Price, DJ (Dale) Poe, Barbara Sue Poe, and many many more.
There will be a Celebration of Life on February 16th from 1-4pm at the Legion Hall in Mendon, IL.
Donations will go to an animal rescue, donations may be made to Tami Wright, Barb (Dave)Vaughn, Brad (Alisha) Harsher, or Michele Crum.

My sincere condolences in the loss of Tonya. We just received the news. Our hearts are sad. We were neighbors in Jacksonville. Her daughter, Amber, grew up with my daughters. When she moved to Asheville, she, Amber and Alex would come to visit us in Baker County after we moved here. Always fun times. And she was my favorite hair stylist. God bless you, her family. Praying for all of you for peace.
