Tonya Lynn Marshall Thomas was born September 17, 1968, in Green County, KY to the late Robert Chrisman Marshall and Brenda Clark Currans who survives. She departed this life, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home, having attained the age of fifty-seven years, one month and eight days of age.
Besides her father, she is preceded in death by her stepfather: Clarence “Buster” Currans.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. She was a high school graduate and was a Customer Service Representative for a Travel Agency.
She is survived by two sons: Austin and Josh Thomas, both of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Riley and Brooklyn Thomas; her mother: Brenda Clark Currans of Greensburg; siblings: Clark Marshall and his wife Kristin of Greensburg, Chris Marshall and his wife Tammy of Marion County, Chris Currans and his wife Brooke, and Stephanie Franklin all of Lexington; two special dogs: Gracie and Tiki. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Tonya Lynn Marshall Thomas will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 1PM Central Time with Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, until the funeral service at 1PM at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home.
