Obituary of Tonya Leeanne Marshburn
Tonya Leeanne Marshburn passed away at her home in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born in Jasper, Georgia, and raised in Pickens and Cherokee County. She later moved to Florida at a young age with her mother and brothers.
She was one of a kind, with her southern and goofy attitude, her sassy comebacks, her craziness, her weird but cute laugh, her nurturing motherly instinct, and her huge heart. She always loved being around her family and friends. She loved driving around in her Big Red Truck with the windows down and the music booming. She loved spending time with her husband and kids at the beach to watch sunsets.
Tonya is survived by her husband Damien Chavez Marshburn of 23 years, 3 children Elliot Chavez Marshburn, Isaac Crosby Marshburn, and Emma Leeanne Marshburn. Her Mother-in-Law, Deborah Anne Marshburn; Parents, Nancy and Gary La Salle & Jerry and Carol Swancey; her Brothers - Christopher and Steven Swancey; Sister-in-Law, Shannon Crimi; Grandfather Bobby Goble; Step-Grandparents, Tom and Rose La Salle; two adopted Mothers, Sherry Garland and Jackie Martin; 3 nieces and 2 nephews, multiple aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.
She is preceeded in death by her Grandmothers - Ruth Goble, Reba Swancey, and Jean Estelle Huggard; Grandfather Albert Crosby Huggard and Truman Swancey; her Father-in-Law, Rick Chavez Marshburn, and her beloved Sister-in-Law, Jaycee Bradley.

Following her cremation, and in lieu of a graveside ceremony, a memorial service will be held for Tonya beginning at 2:00PM, on March 5, 2022, at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
