Tonya loved music and was a talented singer. She loved the Lord and worshiped Him with her beautiful voice. Tonya loved to decorate her home during every holiday; inside and outside would be full of things celebrating the season. Holidays were her favorite; family gathering around her table enjoying her amazing food delighted her. Tonya loved to be outside enjoying the weather, the flowers, the birds, people watching, and playing computer games. Tonya missed her calling to be a veterinarian, she adored animals and could speak their language. More than anything else in the world, Tonya's family was her treasure.
Tonya was preceded in death by her father Thomas Mitchell.
Tonya is survived by her husband of 16 years Melvin Riley, daughter Tarah Dawn Moore, son Justin Moore (Sarah), mother Judith Kellough, brother Reverend Tom Mitchell (Laurie), 7 grandchildren, niece Samantha Mitchell and nephew Jacob Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home, A Life Celebration® Home. Please visit www.bentongluntandtappfuneralhome.com to share memories and words of comfort with Tonya's family.
