Today we celebrate the life of Torey Shane Dockstader, born on April 12, 1970, in Seattle, WA. Torey was full of charisma and somewhat witty, well known for his quick humor and infectious laughter. His loving nature and adventurous spirit were evident in everything he did, from his fervor for fast things-boats, motorcycles, cars-to his knack for finding hidden treasures at garage sales. His journey, while cut short, was always filled with exploration, laughter, and love.
Torey was a master of his craft, working diligently as a carpenter since he was 18! He was an ardent sports enthusiast, cheering on his beloved Seahawks and Mariners, engaging in a game of darts, or simply enjoying the thrill and camaraderie of a good campfire gathering. He was a man who believed in getting the best deal, but what mattered most to him were the people he held dear. His daughters Madison and Jordan, his brother Trevor, and his friends who stuck with him through it all, were his world. His passion for being a father was evident in his happiness when just talking about his daughters. Even more joy came into his life in January, when Jordan gave birth to Wilde Nicholas and he became a Grandpa. His love for sports, fishing, golfing and his family lit up his life and those around him.
Torey is survived by his daughters Madison and Jordan, grandson Wilde, older brother, Trevor Dockstader, sister-in-law, Katina Dockstader, his niece, Tarynnie Dockstader, and nephews Jarett and Austin. He is preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Dockstader, and his grandparents, Maxton and Virginia Laughlin and His Uncle Marc. His passing leaves a void in our lives, but his spirit will continue to inspire us.
We invite you to share your memories of Torey, to celebrate the life he lived, and the love he shared. Please feel free to upload photos and share your favorite stories on the memorial page.
In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Let us remember Torey with smiles and love, celebrating the life he lived, the laughter he spread, and the memories he created that will forever be etched in our hearts.
