Bruce was born on July 22, 1935 in Preston, Idaho. He served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Brigham Young University, where he met his wife, Marilyn Zemp. They married on June 16, 1962 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. They lived in Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. Bruce worked at Sinclair Oil Company for 40 years before retiring in St. George, Utah.
Bruce Dockstader is survived by his wife, Marilyn Dockstader; sister, Connie Smith; sister-in-law, Joan Dockstader; daughter, Shelly Poole; daughter-in-law, Laura Yavitz; and grandchildren: Isis Poole, Orion Poole, and Ameliea Erica Dockstader. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Urias and Neta Dockstader; siblings, Dee Dockstader, Leon Dockstader and Corinne (Dockstader) Fredrickson; and son, Darin J Dockstader.
Family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
