Tracie Lynn Hensley Riley, a beloved and dedicated entrepreneur, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 58.
Born on September 16, 1967, in Fort Meade, Maryland, Tracie cultivated a life marked by hard work, sharp wit, and deep personal connections. Her professional life was defined by her entrepreneurial spirit; she was a highly respected accountant who managed hundreds of personal and business clients. Beyond her successful accounting practice, Tracie's enterprising nature led her to start and manage several small businesses over the years, including a garden center and a sports center.
Tracie will be remembered by her many friends for her incredible strength and resolve, infectious enthusiasm, and diverse interests. She was an avid Duke Blue Devils Basketball fan, a knowledgeable horse racing aficionado, and a confirmed Seinfeld trivia master. Her love for speed was legendary, evidenced by her life rotation of fast cars, which included a Pontiac GTO, Chevy Camaro, Dodge Conquest Turbo, and Dodge Charger Super Bee.
Tracie's heart held two additional loves that brought her endless joy, entertainment, and service: her German Shepherds. She deeply cherished both her deceased companion, Wallace, and her faithful friend, Sally.
Tracie was preceded in death by her father, John Hensley, Sr.
She is survived by her loving family; her mother, Sandra Hensley; her brother, John Hensley, Jr.; and husband Tim Riley.
Tracie Lynn Hensley Riley was loved by many and will be deeply missed by her family, her vast network of friends, and her loyal clients.
