Tracy Eugene Bailey, 73, of Pax, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Born March 26, 1951 in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Corbit and Susie Weaver Bailey. Retired Army Sgt of 20 years, later he retired from Anheuser-Busch in VA. He enjoyed fishing playing cards, and traveling.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Bailey in 2014. A sister, Patricia Bailey; brother, Roy E. Bailey; and several step children.
Those left to cherish his memory include a companion Rosie Elliot of Prosperity; sister, Gracie Holley of Pax; brothers, Clyde (Cleo) Bailey of Princewick and William (Paula) Bailey of Charleston; one uncle, Herman (Florabelle) Wines of Pax; special cousin whom was like a sister Sandra Kaye Stover of Butte, MT; numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family; step children, Mary Valentine and Eddie Hunt both of Gloucester, VA.
To know Tracy you knew that he was a very patient man.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Hope with Pastor Tom Lilly officiating. Burial will follow with Military honors at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
