It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Tracy Bibb Boothe at the age of 48. Tracy passed away on June 4, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Colon Cancer. Tracy was surrounded by everyone that he loved and cared for deeply as he went to Heaven to be with Jesus.
Tracy is survived by his father and mother, Alvin and Brenda Boothe and grandmother, Elizabeth Boothe. Tracy is known for being an outstanding and loving brother, to Luther, Bonnie, Amanda and Kevin; uncle, to Chris, Jaylee, Ethan and Sara; close loved ones, Tabitha Pate, Jonathan Harrison, Tim Burt, Sean Camp, Alan Wilson, and with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
For over 25 years Tracy was a locomotive engineer for Norfolk Southern where he built forever lasting relationships with everyone he worked with. Tracy was an avid lover of classic cars and woodworking. Tracy will continue to be loved and deeply missed by all that knew him!
A visitation for Tracy will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. The service will be Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home.
