Tracy (Cork) Allen Bridgeman, age 76 of Branson, MO formerly from Sioux City, IA passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025.
Tracy was born March 1, 1949 in Sioux City to Violet Lorraine Dik & George Ambrose Bridgeman. He was raised in Sioux City and attended Heelan High. He continued his education in Waukon, Iowa with a diploma in 1972. He finished with a degree in culinary arts at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1974. He supervised and managed several restaurants in town. He loved to cook and enjoyed making chicken and dumplings along with homemade bread.
Tracy enjoyed fishing and his all-time favorite was playing poker with "the guys", every chance he could. He also loved to play cards with the family. He loved old cars and enjoyed going to the casinos.
Those in his memory include: his Spouse Mary Jo Cook of 40 years; Son Nick Arthur Cote, Son John Alan Faulk & Son Russell Campbell; Daughter Patty ( Bridgeman)( Dennis) & husband Lloyd Suber; Daughter Rebecca (Bridgeman) Reichenbach; Son Andrew Bridgeman. Mary Jo's son Frank & spouse Manuel Cook. Brothers Curtis & spouse Jane Dik. Brother Dennis Dik. Sisters Fran & spouse Gary Pence. Mary & spouse Doug Doran. Beverly & spouse Ron Coots. And sister Connie Thompson. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as his Aunt Darlene Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his Parents Violet Dik, George Bridgeman; Stepfather Laddie L Dik Sr; Brother Laddie Dik Jr.; Sister Gloria Hansen; Brother George Bridgeman Jr.; Daughter Melissa Ann Bridgeman; Grandson Aaron Suber; Aunt & Uncle Andy & Hazel Koudron; and Sister Joie (Koudron) Sutton.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 pm at American Legion Post 662, 901 E. Topaz Drive, Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054.
