Minnear, Tracy L. (Peace), 65, Cresson, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Born August 19, 1959, DuBois, daughter of the late John L. and Gladys R. (Strouse) Peace. Survived by her loving husband, David Minnear. Also survived by her sons, Jeff and Matthew Minnear; sister, Amy Gigliotti; and brothers, Jon, Arnold, Kenneth, and Arik Peace, and sister-in-law, Eileen Burk. Tracy graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science. In July of 2001, Tracy received a kidney transplant donated by Dave’s aunt, Nancy Brown. After her transplant, she had a new lease on life for 18 years, competing in the U.S. Transplant Games and running in the Pittsburgh Marathon. In her spare time, Tracy enjoyed quilting, gardening, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 4-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
