In Loving Memory of Barbara Wallace
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Rosalia Vendrzyk Nadolsky Wallace. Barbara, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, and a nurturing, supportive grandmother. Barbara was born in Lilly, Pennsylvania in1931, to Vincent and Mary (Kozak) Vendrzyk. She was preceded in death by her parents and twelve siblings. Barbara graduated from Cresson High School and shortly after, met the love of her life, Thomas Nadolsky, at a Polka dance. They married in 1950 and moved to Hillside, New Jersey where they built a beautiful life raising three children. She is survived by her daughters Cheri Ann Albanese (Joseph), Lois Bohm (Scott) and her son Thomas (Christine Goerke). Barbara was affectionately known as Babcia to her eleven cherished grandchildren: Kyle Albanese (Jessica), Jessica Beadling (Kurt), Wyatt Bohm (Megan), Ryan Bohm (Alyssa), Thomas E. Nadolsky, Mikayla Albanese, Troy Albanese, Tyler Bohm (Catherine), Dylan Bohm, Mary Nadolsky, and Madelyn Nadolsky. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jameson and Vivienne Bohm. Barbara was a dear friend to Carmelina and Bruno Barillari and a beloved “Aunt Barb” to many nieces and nephews across the United States. After the passing of her first husband, Tom in 1973, Barbara later married Richard R. Wallace, with whom she shared many happy years in Rahway, New Jersey. Together, they helped raise and enjoyed their growing family until Dick’s passing in 2010. Barbara loved visiting South Jersey farms to pick fresh produce for canning and spent countless happy days at the Jersey Shore. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed painting ceramics. Though she held various jobs throughout her life, her greatest and most cherished roles were being a mother and Babcia. She was an extraordinary cook and baker and played an irreplaceable role in helping to raise her grandchildren with love and care beyond measure. Her radiant smile, warm welcome, gentle hand, and wise, kind words will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. We take comfort in the hope that Barbara has been joyfully reunited with her loved ones for eternity. Friends and family will be received Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
