Born on April 23, 1947, to the late William Otto and Elizabeth Morrison, he is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Brenda Morrison; his children, Tracy Jr. (Lisa), Kenneth (LaToya), Melvin, and Christopher (Heather); grandchildren Deontae, Dewayne, TeEricka, Janlissa, Kenneth Jr., Melvin Jr., Jamal, Quianna, Armondo, Christopher Jr., Kayla, David, Kenyon, and McKenlee; and great-grandchildren Brielle, Xiair, Amir, Rico, Dominic, and Christopher III. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Floretta Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Otto and Elizabeth Morrison; his daughter, Stacy Johnson; and siblings William Otto Jr., Jerry, Elizabeth (Happy), Lenora, Joyce, Jeannine, and Laura (Faye).

Tracy lived a life marked by hard work, resilience, and unforgettable achievements. He served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1969 and later dedicated 35 years as a truck driver for Yellow Freight, earning respect for his commitment and determination. Beyond his career, Tracy pursued his passion for boxing, competing for 10 years. Among his proudest moments was stepping into the ring with the legendary Muhammad Ali and facing the formidable Marvin Hagler.

His impact stretched beyond sports. Tracy coached little league baseball, becoming a father figure to countless neighborhood children. His home was a sanctuary, his guidance instilled values of teamwork and perseverance, and his influence extended far beyond his family.

A pillar of the community, Tracy never met a stranger. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and mentor whose life reflected dedication, strength, and love. His stories from the road mirrored his adventurous spirit and unshakable work ethic. Tracy's larger-than-life personality touched all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire for generations.
