Tracy Reed Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Day Funeral Service - Gahanna on Jan. 2, 2026.
Tracy Lynn Reed passed away Sunday December 21, 2025, in her home in Columbus, Ohio. Tracy was 55 years of age born in Wheeling, West Virginia on April 30, 1970. Tracy was the beloved daughter of Jacqueline Reed Smith Brown.

Tracy was raised in Wheeling, West Virginia and lived in Austin, Texas, where she was a graduate from Leander High School. Tracy worked outside of the home in various capacities, and she loved poetry and music. Tracy was a kind, loving and giving person, she loved family wherever they were at and she always ended her conversation with I Love You.

Tracy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorraine and Edward C. Reed; aunts, Edna M. Reed, Peggy A. Reed, and Minnie D. Reed; uncle, Edward C. Reed Jr.; and cousins, Cortez Reed, Marita Reed, Deon Webb, Edrekia Pugh, and Tamara Kenner.

Tracy is survived by her son, Isaac I. Reed of Columbus, Ohio; mother, Jacqueline Reed Smith Brown of Columbus, Ohio; her siblings, Rochelle H. Reed Woods of Laurel, Maryland, Claude E. Smith (Bay) of Phoenix, Arizona; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memory.

Tracy was always grateful for the kindness and the unconditional love poured out into her life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Tracy will be cremated, and we will have a celebration of life in April, more information will be announced at a later date.
