Born on September 8, 1940, TJ lived a life filled with countless memories, adventures, and accomplishments that have left a lasting impact on those who knew him. TJ proudly served his country as a veteran of the Navy, and the Air/Army National Guard embodying the dedication and commitment that are hallmarks of a true patriot. His military service was but one of many achievements throughout his life. Known for his vibrant spirit and love of camaraderie, he cherished moments spent playing various sports such as softball, bowling, and horseshoes. His deep-rooted love for family was mirrored in the connections he fostered, always caring for others and holding onto every cherished memento and shared moment.
Throughout his life, TJ found joy in the simple pleasures—he was an ardent fan of the Dodgers and Raiders, enjoying the thrill of each game while sharing a cold Budweiser with friends and loved ones.
He also had a profound appreciation for the rich culture of New Mexico, often tuned into the country's various stations & KANW 89.1 music station, letting the melodies feed his soul.
Significant locations, such as the Garcia’s Kitchen Express in Taylor Ranch (Staff), the mountains, and Barela’s Coffee House held a special place in his heart, marking the backdrop of many family gatherings and joyful occasions.
