Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ivie Funeral Home - Hayesville on Feb. 19, 2026.
Travis Cobb, age 87, of Hayesville, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, in an Asheville hospital. He was a native of Phil Campbell, Alabama, and moved to Hollywood, Florida, where he graduated high school and met the love of his life and future wife, Annette. Travis worked for over 20 years with A&P Grocery, retiring as a district manager. He later moved to Port Orange, Florida, and worked at Jon Hall Chevrolet as a salesman for several years. He was a member of the Daytona Beach Street Rods Club. Travis was a member and deacon at South Daytona Christian Church. He moved to Hayesville in 2017 to be closer to his family. Travis enjoyed watching many sports and loved the Kansas City Chiefs and Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed basketball and especially watching his grandsons play. Travis found peace in gardening and working in the yard. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was the son of the late Mark and Fannie "June" Cobb. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline and Ann; and a brother, Bill.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Annette Cobb; two sons, Eric Ty Cobb and wife, Angie of Astor, Florida, and Jeff Cobb and wife, Regina of Hayesville, North Carolina; one sister, Marion Pridgen and husband, Jerry, of Alabama; one brother, Bobby Joe "B.J." Cobb and wife, Norma, of Florida; four grandchildren, Charles Joseph Cobb, Eric Travis Cobb, Denver Lee Cobb, and Darrin Tucker; three great-grandchildren, Colt, Hayes, and Nora; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in South Daytona Beach, Florida, and will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Travis Cobb to South Daytona Christian Church, 2121 Kenilworth Avenue, South Daytona, Florida, 32119, or Daytona Beach Street Rods Club.
