With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Travis Ray Dingman, who left this world far too soon on October 13, 2025, at the age of 23. He was born on November 10, 2001, in Highland Park, Illinois to parents: Andrew Dingman and Tanya Kuffel.
Travis was a vibrant soul, whose passions illuminated his life. He had an unwavering love for soccer and Video games. With favorites like Minecraft and Rocket League capturing his imagination and creativity. From building awe-inspiring worlds in the former to scoring goals in the latter, Travis found joy and connection in these virtual spaces.
Beyond gaming, Travis had a lifelong love for building and creating with LEGO sets, always finding wonder in the smallest details. His passion for cars was endless, he could name every make and model and loved learning how things worked. He also had a soft spot for elephants, admiring their strength, intelligence, and gentle nature.
Travis was not only a beloved son but also a cherished friend to many. His energy and laughter will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. As we remember Travis, let us hold onto the joyful moments and the love he freely shared. Rest in peace, dear Travis; you will never be forgotten.
Travis is survived by his parents: Andrew Dingman and Tanya Kuffel; his step-parents: Gina Mack and Jason Shull; his step-siblings: Kaiden Brewer, Sabrina Shull, Maximus Shull, Genevieve Shull, Lucas Shull, and Teagan Mack; and many extended family members and friends.
We know Travis is in good hands, surrounded by his grandparents-Jim, Cheryl, James, and Bonnie-who've welcomed him with open arms.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, IL 60050, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at Port of Blarney, 27843 W Grass Lake Rd, Antioch, IL 60002. We invite all who loved Travis to join us in celebrating his life, sharing memories.

Dear Tanya, Andrew, and family,
It doesn't seem that long ago when our family was blessed with the most cute and outgoing neighbor boy ever! I will carry the fun, super funny and awesome times he brought into our home and of course, to Sue. I am forever thankful for the natural, pure joy he brought her and to all of us. His beautiful spirit will always be there to help guide you through the difficult times and and there to celebrate in the good times.
With all our love,
The Tatgenhorst Family
