Mr. Travis D. "Fish Stick" Fisher

Mr. Travis D. "Fish Stick" Fisher, 36, of Wataga, Illinois died 10:12 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his home.
He was born June 17, 1987, in Galesburg, Illinois to Terry Fisher and Tori L. (Nyman) Bloomgren.
Surviving are his parents, Tori and John Bloomgren of Wataga, his father, Terry Fisher of Oneida, his son, Braeden Joseph Shane Glass of Wataga, a special friend, Zuleica Hermandez of Monmouth, two brothers, Richmon (and Katie) Bloomgren of Chillicothe, Illinois and Colby Bloomgren of Wataga, a sister, Marisa (and Wyatt Dillon) Bloomgren of Dahinda, Illinois, his grandparents, Harold Bloomgren of Galesburg, Darlene Fisher of Galesburg and Charles Fisher of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Marilyn Nyman and Grace Arlene Bloomgren.
Travis graduated from ROWVA High School in 2005. He was an extruder operator at ILPEA for approximately ten years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing darts, and shooting pool. He also enjoyed attending Pearl Jam and Jelly Roll concerts, watching the Chicago Bulls, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially going mud racing.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the chapel. Rev. Vincent Marolla will officiate. Burial will be in Wataga Cemetery.
