Pastor Travis N. Hitte, age 45, of Trenton, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Hamilton, Ohio.  Born on September 5, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert E. & Peggy Lynn (Towe) Hitte. Travis served as Pastor at Encounter Church in Trenton, Ohio. He was a 1995 graduate of Hamilton High School, served 13 years at Life Church at Easton, Columbus, Ohio, Hope Church in Camden, Ohio and currently Encounter Church in Trenton, Ohio. He loved horse training, calf roping, leather working, archery and was quite a marksman. A motorcycle enthusiast, fisherman, golfer and avid dad joke teller. He was an outstanding pastor, teacher, musician, singer, public speaker and mentor to many.

 

Survived by his Wife of 19 years: Christy R. (Kinzer) Hitte; Children: Declan and Eliana Hitte; Sister: Stacie Hilsmier; Brother: Justin (Rachelle) Hitte; Mother-in-law: Loraine Kinzer; Brothers-in-law: Brian S. (Jamie) Kinzer and Steven L. (Tresa) Kinzer; Grandmother: Helen Marie (Hurst) Towe; nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.

 

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Rd, Middletown, Ohio 45042 with Pastor Chuck Noel officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the church.

 

Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio.

 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Smoky Mountain Children's Home, 449 McCarn Circle, Sevierville, Tennessee 37862. Condolences may be sent to the family via the website at www.barnesfuneralhome.com.
