Travis E. Johnson, 51, of Greeley, passed away peacefully On November 2, 2024.
Travis Eugene was born June 10, 1973, at St. Paul, Nebraska to Stanley and Margaret "Midge" (Davey) Johnson. He spent his childhood in Greeley where he received his education and graduated from Greeley High School in 1991. While in school he worked at John Deere in Spalding.
Travis attended college in Milford, studying diesel mechanics. He returned to Greeley working mostly in ag-related jobs. He was employed at Sands Livestock, Cargill in Ord, Country Partners Coop in Cedar Rapids and the State of Nebraska Department of Roads. Travis was working at Country Partners Coop of Spalding until his untimely passing.
Travis married Rebekah Pollard in 2015; to this union a daughter, Olivia was born, and Travis became a stepdad to Breyden and Hunter.
Travis was President of the Greeley Rodeo and spent many hours organizing and volunteering for the event. He was a member of the Greeley Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
Those left to cherish his memories and to tell his stories are his daughter, Olivia Johnson; stepsons, Breyden and Hunter Renner all of Bartlett; a sister, Linda Diessner of Greeley; a brother and sister-in-law, Rod and Katie Johnson of Greeley; nephews and nieces, Kale and Lauren Diessner and Carly, Morgan and Logan Johnson; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts, uncles and other relatives.
To honor Travis' life his family will greet friends and host a light meal on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Central Valley Auditorium (Sacred Heart Gymnasium) in Greeley. Casual attire, come as you are.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Family's Choice.
