We mourn with deep sorrow the passing of Travis Joseph Maze, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025, at the age of 36. Travis's life is a powerful testament to the love he shared with everyone he encountered.
Travis was born on February 15, 1989, in Riverside, California, to James and Diana Maze. He joined the family as the youngest of three with two older sisters, Amber and Alicia. As the family's baby, he was doted on by his parents and sisters. He grew a love for skateboarding and drums. He always had a passion for music and loved creating it on his drums. He graduated from Poly High School in 2007.
He met his wife Rosanna a few years later and they married in 2017. Travis found a passion for building things and worked as a handyman. Several years later they welcomed a miracle baby, Tala, into the world in 2021. He was a steadfast pillar in his family's lives, always showing his love through acts of service. Travis took his role as a father very seriously, he was very involved and loving. As a family of three, they were inseparable and built a beautiful life amidst many hardships. He was actively pursuing an HVAC certification at RCC, determined to build a fulfilling career.
He is survived by his parents, James and Diana; his sisters, Amber and Alicia; his wife, Rosanna; and his daughter, Tala, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever honor and carry on the memories of his kind spirit and unwavering love.
A celebration of his life will be held on March 1, 2025, at 5 PM at Evans-Brown Mortuary in Sun City with reception room available to gather. Friends and family are invited to share their stories and memories, honoring the beautiful life Travis lived. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the GoFundMe account set up for Rosanna and Tala.
Travis will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and devotion will always live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. This legacy will continue through the people he left behind, who were truly enriched and cared for by him.
