Mr. Travis Lynn Norris, age 22 of McMinnville, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born on March 02, 2003 in Murfreesboro, TN. Travis worked in maintenance with Stone Sales & Service and was a member of the White Hall Baptist Church. He went through the Fire Academy and was a certified fire fighter. Travis was a person who would help anyone who needed it – this help continues after his death with his organ donations.

Survivors include his mother Pennie Norris, father Van (Sandra) Norris, maternal grandmother Frances Winfrey, paternal grandparents Faye and Jimmy Hargis, brother Trevor (Katie) Norris, nephew Lake Mitchell, aunts Ginger (Lonnie) Byars and Tammy Wells, uncle Mark Norris, several cousins, Shawn McCarver who was like another dad to him, the "Boys from Centertown" who have been an important part of his life since early childhood, and a host of so many friends too numerous to name. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Frank Winfrey.

The funeral service for Travis Norris will be held on Thursday, October 02, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronald Powell will officiate. Interment will follow at Wood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. All who knew and loved Travis are invited to come and celebrate his life.

The family wishes to deeply express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville who went far and beyond their duties in taking care of Travis and his family.
