Mr. Travis Howard Patterson Sr.

Travis Howard Patterson Sr. age 73, of 1528 Groves Road Anderson S.C., Transitioned to his heavenly home, on Thursday at the Lindley Park Nursing Home. He was born in Anderson County, and was the son of the late James Patterson, and Annie Elizabeth Austin Patterson. He was a graduated of Westside High School class of 1970, he was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters Sharonda Lewis of Atlanta Ga., Audrey Lewis, Sharon Groves, and Tracey Mims all of Anderson S.C., one son Travis Patterson Jr., of Anderson S.C., one sister Josephine Williford of Anderson S.C., two brothers Clyde (Mins Rachel) Patterson, and Charles Patterson both of Anderson S.C., 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sister In-law and brother In-Law Wilma Groves & Hal Groves. He was preceded in death by his parents James Patterson, and Annie Elizabeth Austin Patterson, wife Sandra Elizabeth Patterson, three sisters Betty Williams, Mary Acker, and Della Williams, three brothers Luke Patterson, Herman Patterson, and Herbert Patterson. Funeral service will be held Friday May 3 2023 at 1:00P.M. at Asbury Memorial Baptist Church, burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Thursday from 12:00-5:00P.M. at the funeral home. Family will be at their respectfully home. Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home is in Charge of Arrangements.
