Mr. Clyde Allen Patterson

Clyde Allen Patterson age 78 of 219 Clarke Stream Drive Anderson SC passed Thursday June 12, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center. He was born on July 1,1946 in Anderson County and was the son of the late James Patterson and Annie Austin Patterson. Clyde was a truck driver for over fifty years. Within these fifty years, he owned CAP Trucking Company. He attended Westside High School and was a trustee at Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Minister Rachel Patterson of the home, two daughters Cassandra (Robert) Latimer, and Tammy Brown both of Anderson, one brother Charles Patterson of Anderson, one sister Josephine Williford of Anderson, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents James Patterson, and Annie Patterson, daughter Teresa Marie Ellington, brothers Herman Patterson, Herbert Patterson, Travis Patterson, and Luther Patterson, sisters Mary Patterson Acker, Betty Eunice Patterson Wiliams, and Della Mae Patterson Williams. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Saturday from 12:00-7:00P.M. at the funeral home. The family is at 219 Clarke Stream, Dr. Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
