Mazie Lee Mitchell

Mazie Lee Mitchell age 84 of 100 Rocky Top Road Anderson S.C., passed Friday July 25, 2025 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Arthur White, and Eula Bell White. She was a graduate of Geer-Gantt High School, she was employed at Lenox Hill Hospital for 34 years in New York NY, while living in NY she attended Metro Baptist Church, after moving back to South Carolina, she attended Full Armour Worship Center in Honea Path S.C. She was married to the late Johnny Mitchell. Survivors include one sister Frances Dubose, two brothers Walter White, and Charles (Christy) White all of Anderson S.C., and a host of Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends, special caregivers Priscilla DuBose, and Derrick Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Broadus White, Ernestine (Sonny Boy) White, Larry Dean White, James "Bo" White, and Jim Davis, sisters Etrula Williams, Ethel Mae White, Mary Elizabeth Wideman, and Mary Evelyn Scott, and her beloved pet Sandy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00P.M. at Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 12:00-6:00P.M. at the funeral home. The family is at the home. Holloway's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
