In Loving Memory of Coach Travis Pride
June 3, 1968 – May 28, 2025
Travis Pride, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, was lovingly received into the arms of Jesus on May 28, 2025. Travis was born on June 3, 1968, in Durango, Colorado to Wayne and Sara Pride. He will be forever remembered by his devoted wife Kristi, his sons Colt and Brody, and his daughter Raelee. His memory will also be cherished by his parents, siblings including Kellie, Frank, Gary Wayne, Robyn, Jesse and Sapphire, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends, students, coaches and players whose lives he touched.
Known affectionately as Coach Pride, Travis was a shining light in every space he entered. His journey was one of purpose-marked by his love, servant leadership, and unwavering faith in God. Whether on the football field or in the community, Coach Pride inspired those around him to strive for excellence and live with humility.
His servant heart, deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and tireless commitment to uplifting others were the foundations of his life. Those who knew Travis will remember not only how he coached but how he lived - with love, kindness, and an infectious passion for people.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, on what would have been his 57th birthday at 11:00am at Milestone Church, 201 Mount Gilead Road, Keller, TX 76248. Attendees are encouraged to wear Bobcat colors and game day attire and current players will wear their jerseys in honor of their beloved coach.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made by check made out to Byron Nelson Bobcat Football, and sent to:
NISD Athletics
1937 Texan Dr
Justin, TX 76247
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing Travis is now at peace in the presence of his Savior. His legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering encouragement will live on in the countless lives he touched.

We are so sad to hear of this. Travis was a kind, jovial friend to my brother and I growing up. Love and prayers to you all.

I am saddened by the loss of my teammate and friend. TP´er and I have stayed in touch with one another over the years. This one hurts. May god be with his family. He was loved because he was a wonderful person. Rest easy my friend until we see one another again.
Always, Mariz.

What a humble servant of Christ! Really loved my time covering Travis Pride when he was in Wichita Falls. He was serious about helping others, without taking himself too serious. Learned a few things for sure. God bless the family!

Coach Pride once came to my school to lead our FCA. He taught us about kindness and how to show that towards our peers. That message was probably one of the most inspiring messages i´ve heard. He talked the entire 30 minutes never giving up one second. I felt happy knowing that there is a person in my life that even thought i don´t know him well that he cared about us so much that he gave his time to tell us about something so important. To me even thought i didn´t really know him, he was a bright light that did great things.
