Trenice Ann Allen entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the age of 60. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Trenice was a graduate of Oliver Perry Walker High School Class of 1983. She was a former employee with Clear Head Learning Center as a childcare specialist. Beloved mother of Shayon Phoenix (Travis) Gaines, Cordell Dorsey, and the late Wallace Phoenix, Jr., Daughter of the late Wilbert Allen, Sr. and Sandra Wilson Allen. Granddaughter of the late Frank Wilson, Earline Wilson, and Irma Allen. Sister of Nedra Allen, Sharon Allen (Andrew) Williams, Theone Allen (Michael) Hillard, Kim Arenales, Nikaita Allen (Wilson) Wade, Kayon Allen (Ramon) Bieniemy, Wilbert (Deidra) Allen, Jr., Darrell Allen, Robert (Tamara) Allen, Byron Allen Raheem Allen, and Hasan Allen. Longtime companion of the late Ernest Dorsey, Sr., also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Westpoint Church 664 Behrman Highway Gretna, LA on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the above-named church.
