Trevor Thomas

Trevor Thomas was born February 9, 1971, to Samuel and Dale Thomas. He attended Paterson Public School #25 and was in the graduating class of 1989 at Passaic County Technical and Vocational High School. He was a member of New A.M.E Zion church in Paterson, where he faithfully served on the Men's choir and was a Sunday school leader.
Trevor was the first born grandson, to Russell and Louise Maultsby. As a teenager Trevor loved broadcast radio and dreamed of living in NYC. He attended William Paterson University, where he majored in Communications. He worked at 88.7 WPSC FM during his college years. As a passionate fan of 98.7 Kiss FM, Trevor would often communicate with on air DJ Carol Ford. Their relationship led to his internship with the radio station.
In 1992 Trevor began living his lifelong dream. He landed his first job at Kiss FM as the Morning show producer for the Wake-up Club with Jeff Foxx and also worked on the Isaac Hayes & Friends show. In 1996 he moved to NYC and shortly after began working for Hot 97 as the Morning show producer, for the Wendy Williams Show. Wendy Williams and Trevor became friends and she coined his nickname "Skeletor". Trevor was employed for Emmis Broadcast Communications for more than 7 years. He then moved to Philadelphia, where he worked as an On air personality at WPHI-FM.
Trevor worked as a VJ for Ralph McDaniels' Video Music Box. He was also a model, party host, journalist and commercial voice over artist.
Currently he had an online blog, Well Connected with Skeletor, on Blog Talk Radio.
Trevor departed this life on June 21, 2021. He is pre-deceased by his Grandparents Russell and Louise Maultsby, Uncles Ernest and Dwight Maultsby, Aunt Karen Maultsby (maternal) and Jay and Annie Thomas, Uncle Bobby Williams, Aunts Carolyn Deas (Ralph), and Linda Wilborn (Moses) (paternal),.
He leaves behind to cherish and celebrate his life, his parents, Samuel and Dale Thomas, sister Nekeia Colcloughly (Delshawn), nephew Xavier and niece Nia Colcloughly, Great Aunt Shirley Maultsby, Bonnie Windley, Great Uncle Willie Thomas, Uncles Russell (Evelyn), Kevin (Francine) and Dwayne Maultsby, Aunts Theresa Thompson (John), Tanya Cain (Gary), Glenda Thomas, And a host of family and friends.
Trevor was The Life of the party! He was a sweet soul, and his wit, charm, humor and loving spirit will be missed!
