Trevvor Wayne McFee, 36, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on October 14, 2025. He was born in San Diego, California, and will be remembered as a kind, generous, and incredibly intelligent man whose humor, curiosity, and heart touched everyone who knew him.
Trevvor proudly served six years in the United States Army as a Chinook helicopter hydraulics specialist, including a deployment to Iraq. After completing his service, he continued his dedication to teamwork and integrity through his work with the Laborers’ International Union.
He was known for his quick wit, love of learning, and encyclopedic knowledge, the kind of person who could hold his own on any trivia show. Family and friends often teased him about his “high need to be right,” but they admired his sharp mind and endless curiosity about the world.
In his free time, he enjoyed collecting gold and silver, especially unique silver coins, and was proud to serve as a moderator within the online gold and silver community. He was an avid reader who could power through books in days, with a particular passion for history, science, and health and fitness. He had a love for music, enjoying a wide range of genres and attending concerts whenever he could. Whether it was classic rock, metal, or something entirely new, music was one of his greatest sources of energy and joy.
He is survived by his loving parents, Michelle and Paul Garcia, his sister and brother-in-law, Terryan and David Johnson, stepbrother, Ricci Garcia, stepsister, Paige Garcia, niece, Ridley Johnson, biological father, Wayne McFee, aunt, Shawnette Scott, aunt, Dani McFee, and uncle, Ron McFee.
Trevvor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the knowledge he passed on, and the kindness he gave so freely.
Those wishing to honor Trevvor’s memory may consider acts of kindness in his name or donations to the Marion County Veterans Office.
