Treyton Jarvis Obituary

Treyton Bruce Jarvis

Southbridge - Treyton Bruce Jarvis, 16, began his spirit journey on Wednesday, June 9th, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by his family and friends.

His life and energy will be celebrated forever by his parents, Jason Q. and Stacy L. (Anger) Jarvis, his brother, Kierce J. Jarvis, his close cousins Braedon and

Amelie Jarvis, and his godparents Jennifer and Justin Jarvis. He is equally and eternally loved by his maternal grandmother, Pauline Anger of Southbridge; his maternal grandfather, Bruce Anger and his wife Laurie of Oxford; his paternal grandmother, Sharon Reynolds of Southbridge; his paternal grandfather, Anthony Jarvis of Westerly, RI; his grandmother, Lisa Jarvis of Meriden, CT; as well as many other cousins, aunts, uncles and family. His beloved family dog, Maya will miss his love, attention, and near-constant supply of misplaced food and candy as well.

Treyton was born in Southbridge on June 14, 2004 with two extra chromosomes (48 XXYY), a genetic syndrome which impacted every aspect of his daily life. Despite this challenge, Trey aspired toward and accomplished much; from achieving a black belt in karate, performing in the DMS Jazz Band, accomplishing the rank of Star in Boy Scouts, to receiving a varsity letter on the Shepherd Hill Wrestling Team. He had just completed his sophomore year at Shepherd Hill Regional High School and was saving up for a moped to cruise more comfortably around town saying hello and being kind to everyone he passed, a central feature of his amazing soul and spirit.

Saying that Trey had eclectic interests is an understatement, but some of them included: collecting antiques, religion, mountain-biking, anime, world cultures, architecture, poetry, and most importantly his deep passion for music of all types. Trey was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Southbridge and volunteered weekly for the food share.

Calling hours for Treyton will be held on Tuesday, June 15th, from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, at 10:00 am in the United Methodist Church, 449 Main St., Southbridge. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church, 449 Main St., Southbridge, MA 01550 or to the Treyton Bruce Jarvis GoFundMe account.

May the love of our Lord bless and take care of this young man's family and friends. I did not know him, but I love him, can't help but love this faithful and compassionate child of God. He is still here with us, we may not see him in our form, but he is with us and with the God who created and made us in His image. Eternal life with Jesus, what a reward! I cry out of sadness for our loss. Love Abound.
