Tricia Kitterman Obituary

Tricia Lee Kitterman, of Stevens Point, passed away at home on October 16, 2025, at the age of 54.
Tricia was born March 24, 1971, in La Crosse, WI; daughter of James "Jim" Aeby and the late Susan Aeby. Growing up, she loved spending time with her Grandma and Grandpa and enjoyed waterskiing. From a young age, she had an incredible memory. When she was 6 years old, she went to Disney World and remembered everything about it! In 1989, she graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH).
Following high school, Tricia joined the workforce and worked as a caregiver at Wellington Place. This career path fit her caring personality well as she truly enjoyed working with the elderly. Tricia also loved her other job - being a mother. She took great pride in keeping a clean and tidy home for her family and found solace in yard work. Her knack for remembering everything, no matter when or where it happened, was a lifelong skill. While Tricia's greatest joy in life was her children, she also had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. In her life, she owned and loved countless dogs and also had her own dog walking service for a time. Tricia's witty sense of humor will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Tricia is survived by her children, Cassie and Austin; her father, Jim (Carol Risberg) Aeby; and her brother, Troy (Debbie) Aeby. She is further survived by her niece, Leah (Charlie) Gieber; her nephew, Lance (Morgan) Aeby; her great-nephew, Miles; her uncles, Bob Larsen and Bill White; her cousins, Tammy and Kylie; and her beloved caregivers, Titi, and Jennifer.
Tricia was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Aeby; her paternal grandparents, Treva and Louis Aeby; uncles, Micky White, Pat White, and Dick White; and an aunt, Nancy Larsen.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Home Instead and Inclusa for the wonderful care and help provided to Tricia and her family.
For those wishing to express their sympathies, the family kindly requests donations be made in Tricia's honor to and ASL foundation of your choosing or to the Humane Society of Portage County (www.hspcwi.org/donate).
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Shuda Funeral Chapel - 3200 Stanley Street, Stevens Point. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Shuda Funeral Chapel is honored to assist the family.
