TOWN OF OHIO – Trinity R. Barnello, 16, of State Route 8, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2024 following a car accident.
Trinity was born on September 26, 2007 in Elmira, a daughter of Amanda (Congdon) Loomis and Jason Barnello. She received her education from Canastota and Poland Central Schools, where she excelled academically and found engagement in extracurricular and community service activities. Trinity was passionate about art, music, friends and her family. She also enjoyed cheerleading, tennis and discovered a love for law in her Mock Trial competitions that inspired her to pursue law after high school. Trinity enjoyed camping with her family and friends during the summer. She loved being around her family, friends, and pets, always. Her brilliant personality and generous character always brought smiles to the people who loved her.
Trinity is survived by her mother and stepfather, Amanda and Douglas Loomis of the Town of Ohio; her father, Jason Barnello (Joanna Jordan) of Canastota; maternal grandparents, Bob and Cathy Congdon of Deming, NM; eight siblings, Alonzo Barnello of Whitesboro, Jacob Barnello of Canastota, Lucas (Kara Hyde) of Potsdam, Cameron Loomis (Jami Peters) of Rome, Brianna Loomis (Andrej Federov) of Holland Patent, Averie Loomis of the Town of Ohio, Kayla Peek and Mellanie Jordan both of Canastota; a beloved cousin, Petara Barnello of Irmo, SC; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Trinity was predeceased by her grandmother, Linda Barnello.
Calling hours at the Autenrith Funeral Home, 7479 Main Street, Newport, are Monday, August 5, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Ohio Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Homeward Bound Pet Rescue online at https://www.homewardboundrescuesc.com, or checks can be mailed to PO Box 4335 Irmo, SC 29063.
The family would like to express sincerest thanks to family, friends and neighbors who have provided support during this difficult time. - Amanda

I am so sorry for your loss. For my daughter Catherine´s 10th birthday, she invited Trinity to Wonderworks to do the ropes course, then we went out to dinner. I remember how scared the girls were, but they overcame their fear and had a great time on the ropes.
Our prayers will be with your family during this devastating time.
