Trisha Lynn Rutter (nee Tomes), age 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025 after a very long and courageous battle with health issues. She was born in Lodi, Ohio, to Herbert and Ryta Tomes.
Trisha met the love of her life in 1985, Tom, with whom she shared a devoted marriage and raised Samantha Lynn. Family was always at the center of Trish’s world, and she took great joy in nurturing the people she loved.
Trisha graduated in 1983 from Cloverleaf High School. She continued her education by taking classes at Wayne College and Akron University. Trisha later worked at Hickory Ridge Welding LLC. Trisha was responsible for helping build and grow the family business. Trisha was also a devout Christian and loved reading her bible and sharing the Word. Trisha was the strongest and most fearless person. She battled to the end with all her might. Trisha and Tom were married May 20th 1989 and have shared 36 beautiful years of wedded bliss.
Left to cherish her memory is husband Tom, daughter, Samantha (Josh) Branham and her grandchildren Georgia Lynn and Brooklyn Grace Branham.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. a Celebration of Life will follow the vastation at 3:00 p.m. located at NorthWinds Church, 8691 Easton Rd., West Salem, OH 44287.
We are asking those attending to wear Trisha’s favorite colors: Pink, Purple and Blue.
Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be forever remembered.
