My baby Tristen was the one that taught me patience and unconditional love on levels most people will never experience. An unconditional love that most never even learn to give. That type of patience that taught you you can't control everything that's going on so let's relax and go with the flow and later we can tackle what is in our control!
He truly taught me how to take a step back and think before I say or do things I may regret and for a child that was nonverbal you would think that's not possible but I learned more from him than you could imagine! His smile on his good days lit up the room, he chuckled with impeccable timing when we talked around him almost to say haha that was funny in his own way. On his bad days he was still so pleasant and calm. He lived a long 15 years despite doctors diagnosing him at 2 months old giving him up to only a year of life here on earth! Tristen was my parents whole world and they loved him with a love so pure and genuine so fierce it was beautiful. We spent many nights over the years in the hospital but this time he wouldn't be coming home with me and that has been the hardest pill to swallow!! I will forever miss you my boy but I will carry with me all you've taught me and will forever be grateful for the lessons you bestowed on others along your journey. You've touched more lives than you know and will never be forgotten sweet little soul of mine! Thank you for choosing me and our family the blessing of having you! Sleep in peace my Prince till we meet again. Nana & Gramps got you now! Love you to the moon and back forever!! Forever an angel! May your memory be for a blessing.
