Dominic A. Lampone

Born to Eternal Life on September 12, 2025, at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of 68 years to Florence (née Balistreri). Preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Anne (née Hodge); his brother, Tony (Darlene); and his children, Dominic S. (Lori) and Stephanie (Dave).

Loving father of Mary (Jim) Lindstrum, Paul (Amy), and Rose (Keith) Dodd. Cherished Papa and Great-Grandpa. Dominic is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Dominic was born in Milwaukee and spent much of his early career as a welder and metallurgist for various companies in the area. He later worked as a Sales Manager for Emissary Wines before founding Ambassador Wines in 1988. He ran the business until it was acquired by Shermer Specialties in 2014, where he remained employed until his retirement in 2024.

Throughout his life, Dominic enjoyed reading, watching horse racing, playing games, and especially craps. He will be remembered for his generous heart, outgoing spirit, positive attitude, and piercing blue eyes. He never knew a stranger and was always ready with a kind word or thoughtful advice.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to St. Francis Health Services and the staff of the MRICU at St. Luke's Medical Center for their compassionate care. Also, a special thank you to Mike and Nancy Schworck for the love, support, and care they gave to Dominic.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Mass for Dominic on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1023 E. Russell Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53207. Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
